Plain & Covered Batts

Nothing beats the warmth and lightness of a wool quilt. Each year, some of our fleeces are too short or too greasy for hand spinners. We have them washed and carded. Some of those are made into roving and some are made into quilt batts. We have two styles of quilt batts - - plain and covered. Both are 100% virgin wool from sheep raised on our farm. The inventory level is constantly changing. Special sizes and thicknesses can be made; give us a call and we can discuss your particular application.

Plain Quilt Batt: about 1” thick washed and carded virgin wool, quilt type batt without a cover.

Covered Quilt Batt: about 2” thick washed and carded virgin wool, comforter type batt with a Pellon or cloth cover - - works well with a duvet style comforter.
